The HD800 features 13 test patterns including 3D tests Side by side, Top and Bottom, and Frame packing. The Atlona HD800 is a Portable HDMI signal generator capable of testing any video resolution or timing in any digital format.   How do I test my HDMI cable with this device?
 
  1. insert your HDMI cable into the HDMI in and HDMI out port of the device
  2. power on the device
  3. push and hold the timing select button for 3 seconds
  4. if the HDMI cable passes the test all three lights should blink briefly and then be solid
  5. if the lights go solid then resume blinking the HDMI cable does not pass the test
  • while doing this process ensure that you do not have the unit in 3D mode

  I have the low power light on, I have changed batteries and even tried the power supply, whatís going on?
  BATT. LOW LED will light up when the power is on. The LED will start flashing fast when the batteries get to 10% or below or slow when it is put in standby mode.

  Is there a quick key to get to the highest capable resolution of my display?
  If you press and hold the info pattern button for 3 seconds the AT-HD800 will set itself to the native resolution of your display.

  Is there an HDCP test signal?
  Yes, the top/bottom black/white Pluge Pattern is the only HDCP pattern on this device.

  Why is there a mismatch between both the userís manual and website photo of the AT-HD800 and the actual product itself?
  Future shipment userís manual will reflect new silk screen. Product with the following date code : (S/N : XXXXXXXX1402XXXXXXX).
